- The Family: America’s Smallest School – Sept. 2007 This report from Educational Testing Services examines the important, and often overlooked educational role of parents in raising student achievement and closing achievement gaps.
- Early Childhood Development: Economic Development with a High Public Return – March 2003. This report by Art Rolnick and Rob Grunewald from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis examines the economic impact of early childhood development.
- A New Wave of Evidence: The Impact of School, Family, and Community Connections on Student Achievement – 2002. This is the fourth edition of Evidence that reports on evidence that suggests that when school, families, and community groups work together to support learning, and families, our children tend to do better in school.
- Zero to Three This website focuses on science-based information and tools designed to help parents, caregivers and professionals understand and nurture young children’s development.

- Getting Ready: Findings from the National School Readiness Indicators Initiative, a 17 State Partnership – Feb. 2005Studies show that educational achievement gaps already exist at Kindergarten entry. Children from low-income families are more likely to start school with limited language skills, health problems and social and emotional problems that interfere with learning. The purpose of this report by 17 participating states was to develop a comprehensive set of school readiness indicators from birth through third grade.
